See the tower with the gold top, just left of centre?  That’s the Sydney Sky Tower.

(This photo is taken from Darling Harbour) .

It is pretty expensive to go up and dine in their restaurant or to visit as a tourist to do the ‘Sky Walk’ or even just to take in the view.

My mission: get to the top the cheapest possible way.

Bingo!  Accomplished!  A $20 bar tab is the way to go!

When you enter the ‘Westfield Centre’, head to the fourth floor and look for the booking counter of ‘360 Bar and Dinning’.

By agreeing to spend a minimum of $20 at the bar (that’s in total, not p.p), you will be given a nice soft couch and a little table with an AWESOME view!

How does this compare to a ticket purchased on level 5?

A single adult ticket costs $26.50.  If there are two of you, then that $53…with no drinks 😦

If bubbles are not your thing, fear not.  Cocktails, fine wines and beer are all available plus a menu to order some great little nibblies.

Sit back, sip away and enjoy the view.  A full revolution takes just over an hour.

Spinning around at a nice casual pace, taking in Sydney…

So yeah, we were kicked back enjoying ourselves so much, we forgot to take photos of the Sydney Harbour Bridge & Opera House as we passed by!

A classic case of ‘enjoying the moment without the camera’.

If you are not familiar with Sydney, it is the ‘Westfield Centre’ you are looking for to enter the Sky Tower.

A nice piece of sky writing happening to the right of the photo; it ended up being a love heart with an arrow through it and a couple of initials of…who knows?!

The ‘360 Bar’ is open 7 days a week.

Sun – Wed from 4.30pm

Thu, Fri & Sat from 12pm
